FBNR News:
I'm 200 pages into Best Served Cold by Joe Abercrombie. Its good reading so far, though like others have said, the plot is just average. What makes this stand out are the characters and the writing. It's fun just to see how Joe will describe the next scene. I think the humor is spot-on as well. Though the phelgm references could stand to be reduced...

-Joshua Palmatier announces that all 3 of his Throne books are now available on the Kindle.
-Browsing the new releases list at Fictionwise, I noticed that Wizards of the Coast released ebook version of most (all?) of Salvatore's Dark Elf Series, and the first 2 in the Lost Chronicles series by Weiss & Hickman. So Drizzt fans now how ebook options. Oh, and at Fictionwise, Joe Abercrombie's Best Served Cold ebook will be 24.95, while the Kindle edition will be 9.99. Yet another example of why the ebook market is so screwed up.

Thanks for the linkage! Assassin's Apprentice is actually book 1, however; book 2 is called A Prince Among Killers and won't be out until November. :)

Im also 200 pages into Best Served Cold, and am LOVING it. Seriously, his humor and characters are too good in my opinion.
